The famous words of Neil Armstrong, “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind,” was quite literal, and it comes to mind when I read about the result of a collaboration between The North Face and Spiber, a Japanese company: the Moon Parka.

It’s probably because of word association, but the technology involved in making the prototype of the Moon Parka is indeed a giant leap in the industry, for it’s no ordinary parka.

November has been known as the month of awareness for prostate cancer since 2003. Starting with only 30 members, the Movember initiative has grown to millions of people participating every year – both men and women.
