Sneakers…sneakers everywhere.

The other weekend, I went sneaker shopping with my not-so-little brother and got rather overwhelmed with the amount of options out there. Men’s, women’s, and unisex. Running shoes. Training shoes. Lifestyle shoes. Low cut. High cut.

Name it, I probably saw it.

Thing is, most of them were brands that mass-produce their shoes. So, the chances are that you will see at least one person wearing the same pair. Continue reading →

And I’m not getting far…

Truth to be told, I’ve had mixed feelings for rompers, to begin with. Sure, the look great on children and they feel comfortable in them. After all, they “appeared in the United States of America in the early 1900s. They were popular as playwear for younger children because people thought they were ideal for movement.

In the 70s, they became popular with adult women and while their popularity dipped in the following decades, rompers for women were suddenly all over the place in the mid-2000s. It’s probably a matter of preference, but rompers wouldn’t be on my shopping list anytime soon. Continue reading →
